Educational Background: Carl holds two bachelor degrees, including a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Building Construction Technology from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.

Professional Experience: Carl has spent the last 25 years in the real estate and construction industries in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. Serving as both a construction project manager and a real estate broker Carl has developed multiple family, commercial retail and industrial projects for both the private sector and government clients. In the 1990's Carl was also an active environmental contractor specializing in the replacement and clean up of petroleum tank installations and petroleum spill response and clean-up activities.

Interests:Carl was born in Jacksonville and grew up boating on the St. Johns River. He is a boat owner who fishes and sails the AICW and offshore area around St. Augustine. He works to maintain and improve the public access to the AICW and the surrounding waters.

Unique Story: In his 20's Carl ran a 42' dive boat in the British Virgin Islands and ultimately ran that boat back to Jacksonville.
