PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Lynn is an engineer by vocation, building large, special machine tools for major aircraft manufacturers throughout the world.

EDUCATION/BACKGROUND: A graduate of the University of Chicago, Lynn has four children and five grandchildren. 

UNIQUE STORY: Lynn has been a long-time traveler on the Intracoastal Waterway, in the past, bringing sailboats from the north to winter in the south. Giving vent to his love for ocean racing, he partnered in the building of sailboats both in the U.S. and Europe. He has raced across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and competed in virtually all of the world's major ocean races. He has won a world championship as well as an Olympic medal. He says he is now "reduced to power-boating" in a handsome old lobster boat which is moored just off the waterway in Fernandina Beach.
