Professional Experience: Ms. McCabe has been a resident of Volusia County, Florida for more than 40 years. She graduated from Father Lopez High School in 1975. After earning an A.A. degree from Daytona Beach Community College in 1979, she spent the next several years raising her family and assisting her husband in the operation of his State Farm agency, located in Port Orange. 

Professional & Civic Associations, Certifications: Ms. McCabe is a member of the Florida Bar, the Volusia County Bar, the Orange County Bar and is admitted to practice in Federal Court in the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Volusia Flagler Association of Women Lawyers and the Florida Capital Bank Leadership Counsel. In addition, Susanne is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. Ms. McCabe was recently appointed by The Florida Bar to the 7th Judicial Circuit's Grievance Committee. 

Education:: In 1994 Ms. McCabe returned to college, earning her Bachelor's degree from Warner Southern College and her Juris Doctor degree in 2004 from Barry University School of Law. Ms. McCabe was admitted to The Florida Bar in September, 2004 and maintains a civil litigation practice in Port Orange. 

Unique Story:: Susanne and her husband, Bill McCabe have three children. Allison is an assistant attorney general in Tampa; Kathleen is in her first year of medical school at Saba University; and their youngest, Robert, is a freshman in college at Lindenwood University, in St. Charles, Missouri.
