Amelia Island Bridge 5.5 Extreme shoaling along west edge and moderate shoaling in center of channel from 150 ft. south of the bridge to Marker R14.
Alligator Creek North 6 Shoaling begins 350 ft. north of Marker G21 and extends to Marker R24.  Minor shoaling from G25 to 1,000 ft. west of R26.
Alligator Creek South 6.3 Shoaling on north side of channel from Marker R34 to 400 ft. east of Marker G37 and then shoaling across the channel from Marker R36 south 1,200 ft.
South Amelia River 8.9 Minor shoaling on east side of channel from Marker G45 to 400 ft. north of Marker G45A.
Ft. George River 8 Shoaling across channel from Marker R72 to R74, then minor shoaling to 1,000 ft. south of G79.
Ft. George River north of the St. Johns 5.5 Minor shoaling on west side of channel at Marker R82 and on the east side of the channel at Marker G83.  Severe shoaling on the west side of the channel at and south of Marker G85.

Palm Valley

Shoaling throughout the northern end of Palm Valley Cut between Oak Lodge (1,700' north of St. Mile 750) and Palm Valley Lodge (3,000' south of St. Mile 755), best water is in the center of the channel, severe shoaling is on the west side.

NOTE: This report is produced by the Florida Inland Navigation District to assist mariners using the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.  This report summarizes bathymetric survey of the channel entitled SURVEY2004 and other location specific surveys which were completed by the ACOE.  This report only lists areas less than 8 feet in depth at mean low water.  Mapping of these shoal areas can be viewed on the District's web page:  aicw.org.  The District does not assert that this report is complete.  Mariners should consult with all sources of navigation information to fully document existing conditions in the waterway.
