PUBLIC NOTICE
The Board of Commissioners of the Florida Inland Navigation District announces public meetings to which all persons are invited. DATES AND TIMES: 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2010 and 8:00 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010. PLACES: The Thursday evening Community Outreach Event is at the Mansion at Tuckahoe, located in Riverside Park, 1707 NE Indian River Drive in Jensen Beach and the Friday morning Board of Commissioners Meeting is at the Indian River Plantation Marriott Hotel, 555 N.E. Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, Martin County, Florida. PURPOSES: On Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the District will be sponsoring a Community Outreach Event for the District's Commissioners to meet members of the local community and discuss waterway related issues. A meeting of the District's Board of Commissioners to conduct the regular business of the District will be held on Friday at the Indian River Plantation Marriott Hotel. Additionally, the District's Public Relations, Finance and Budget, and Land Acquisition and Management Committees will meet. All events and meetings are free and open to the public. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, they will need a record of the proceeding, and for such purposes, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
