SJ-14 Weir Replacement Construction; St. Johns County, FLORIDA. The Florida Inland Navigation District (District) will receive sealed bids for replacement of the weir at the District’s Dredged Material Management Area SJ-14 at its offices at 1314 Marcinski Road, Jupiter, Florida 33477 until 2 PM, local time, January 06, 2022 and then, at said office, the bids will be publicly opened or read aloud. This project generally entails the fabrication and installation of three steel box weirs and accompanying aluminum walkway structure at a dredged material management area (DMMA) and associated pipe replacements or modifications, landscaping, and other associated work. The SJ-14 project area, located in St. Johns County, Florida, is located about 1.5 miles west of the Intracoastal Waterway, and immediately south of the Nocatee Parkway. To access the site from Interstate-95 take the exit for Old St. Augustine Road and continue for 1.5 miles, turn right onto US-1 South and continue for 3.9 miles, use the right two lanes for 0.9 miles to take the exit onto Nocatee Parkway and continue east for 3.8 miles. The access road is on the right.  The District will hold a pre-bid meeting and site visit at 9:30 AM on December 16, 2021 at the SJ-14 Dredged Material Management Site of which attendance is highly recommended.
