NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE

 The Florida Inland Navigation District has tentatively adopted a measure to increase its property tax levy.

 Last year’s property tax levy:

A.  Initially proposed tax levy                                       $25,253,172

B.  Less tax reductions due to Value Adjustment

      Board and other assessment changes                 $    178,285

C.  Actual property tax levy                                          $25,074,887

 This year’s proposed tax levy                                            $27,252,717

       This tax increase is applicable to: Nassau, Duval, St. Johns, Flagler, Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties

 All concerned citizens are invited to attend a public hearing on the tax increase to be held on

September 27th, 2017

6:00 p.m.

A FINAL DECISION on the proposed tax increase and the budget will be

made at this hearing. The meeting may be conducted in part by communication media technology and speaker phones.
