Waterway Regulations - Palm Beach County

In November 27, 1990, The Governor and the Cabinet adopted a Manatee Protection Plan for Palm Beach County which included a number of boat speed regulatory zones designed to minimize the number of accidental strikes by boats to manatees. The plan has been modified several times since its initial adoption. The plan is now Florida Law Section 68C-22.009 F.A.C.

Areas of the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Beach County are also regulated for boating and public safety as described in Florida Law Section 68D-24.017 F.A.C.
