The Board of Commissioners of the Florida Inland Navigation District announces an electronic public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Notice is hereby given that the Florida Inland Navigation District (District) will hold an electronic public meeting of the District's Board of Commissioners, together with a meeting of the District’s Personnel Committee, beginning at 8:30 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2023. The purpose of the meetings is to conduct the regular business of the District. Meeting agendas and online meeting registration information are available on the District’s website at www.AICW.org or by contacting the District office at 600 County Hwy 707, Unit C, Jupiter, FL, 33469-3516, telephone (561) 627-3386 or email Jzimmerman@aicw.org for more information. Public input may be made in advance by email to jzimmerman@aicw.org or during the meeting via video conference.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board or committee with respect to any matter considered at these meetings, they will need a record of the proceeding, and for such purposes, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.  Any person requiring a special accommodation at this meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the District a minimum of three (3) days prior to the meeting. Board and committee meetings may be conducted utilizing communications media technology (CMT); specifically, one or more members may attend and participate by speakerphone.
